Clearfield City Hall, 55 South State Street, houses the Clearfield Police Department, as well as the following departments: Administrative Services, including Utilities/Bill Pay, Human Resources, and Information Technology; Community Services, including Parks, Recreation and Cemetery; Community Development, including building permits, and business licensing; the Clearfield Justice Court and Legal Department; and the Executive Department, including the Mayor's office, City Manager and Assistant City Manager, City Recorder, and Public Relations.
The Clearfield Community Arts Center houses a small theater (seats 108) with dressing rooms, a commercial kitchen and dining/multipurpose area, several classrooms of various sizes, and offices, and is located at 140 East Center Street, Clearfield.
The North Davis Fire District - Clearfield Station 42 is located at 88 East Center Street.
Clearfield City's Public Works Shops are located at 497 South Main Street, and the Parks Shops at 58 East 550 South.
The Clearfield Aquatic Center is located at 825 South State Street, adjacent to North Davis Jr. High.
Clearfield has seventeen city parks, ranging from just half an acre to over 20 acres, with varying park amenities. Picnic pavilions and restrooms are provided at most parks (due to weather conditions park restrooms are closed from mid-October through mid-April). Clearfield City has two ponds open for fishing, Steed Pond and Mabey Pond. Fishing is governed by the state of Utah, and those fishing in the ponds must have a current fishing license, and honor the two-fish/per person limit.
