Are you looking for something exciting and educational to kick off your summer? Look no further! On Memorial Day weekend, the show-stopping, jaw-dropping United States Air Force Thunderbirds will be showcased at Hill Air Force Base’s Air Show. In addition to the Thunderbirds performance, this free and open to the public two-day event includes an open house and other aerial demonstrations including the Air Force Heritage Flight Foundation, David Erickson, Sounds of the Sky, Red Bull, the Red Eagles, and the Wings of Blue, to name a few. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view up-close static displays of aircraft and enjoy many vendors from the local community.
“Open houses and air shows serve as premier platforms that enable us to showcase the Air Force mission and the extraordinary things our Airmen do every day,” said Colonel Sarah Zabel, 75th Air Base Wing commander. “It’s also a way of saying thank you to the Utah community for generously supporting Hill Air Force Base.”
