In order to assist qualified Clearfield residents in making emergency-type repairs, Clearfield City has contributed part of its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds to the Davis Community Housing Authority. Clients must be handicapped, disabled, elderly, and/or have a low-to-moderate income based on HUD’s (Housing and Urban Development’s) requirements. Examples of repairs include a severely deteriorated or leaking roof, an inoperable or “red tagged” furnace or water heater, leaky plumbing, lack of sanitary facilities, etc. For more information or to see if you qualify please contact Mary Swanstrom at the Davis Community Housing Authority, (801) 939-9198.
