Our Mission Statement

To provide professional law enforcement services

that will enhance the quality of life

for all citizens who live in or visit our community.

The men and women of the Clearfield City Police Department join me in thanking you for wanting to learn about our fine department, and the different programs that we have in place to promote safety throughout our city.

Our police department is currently staffed with 31 police officers, two Code Enforcement Officers, nine full-time and two part-time dispatchers, two records technicians, one evidence custodian/special functions officer and an administrative secretary. We also have an effective volunteer citizen patrol group of 18 of which, in 2011, donated 899.75 hours of time supporting the department in keeping our streets safe.

Clearfield City officers are proactive in their fight against crime and make every effort to promote community-oriented policing by developing effective partnerships, identifying root causes of crime and implementing solutions which will result in a reduction of crime and increase in safety.

The officers and staff of the Clearfield City Police Department place a high priority on professionalism, integrity and service. We pledge to continue to work with the community to solve problems which affect the quality of life in Clearfield.

We are always determined to do our best as a police department. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me at (801)525-2801, or email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it .
